Initial Consult & QBE Estimate

We start with a conversation. This is where we get to know you, understand your goals, and learn about your vision for the home. From here, we’ll prepare a QBE (Quick Budget Estimate). This gives you a rough price guide based on your brief and site information — helping you see early whether your ideas align with your budget.

Our QBE isn’t just a guess — it’s grounded in our experience, data from recent projects, and the realities of building in today’s market. This step ensures we’re all on the same page from the beginning.

2. 

Preliminary Agreement

If the QBE feels right, the next step is entering into a Preliminary Agreement. This is a formal agreement that allows us to get to work on the finer details, including:

• Site visits and analysis

• Liaising with designers, engineers or certifiers (if needed)

• Preparing a detailed Cost Schedule

• Beginning to draft your full scope of works

This phase is vital — it sets the groundwork for an accurate and fixed-price contract later on. It also gives you peace of mind that we’re investing time into planning things properly before anything is locked in.

3. 

Cost Schedule & Construction Contract

Once we’ve gathered all the necessary information and had all the right conversations, we’ll present a full Cost Schedule outlining the specific costs of your build. This is transparent, detailed, and tailored to your unique project.

When you’re happy to proceed, we move into a formal Construction Contract — with everything clearly documented, agreed, and signed. At this point, we lock in start dates, timelines, and get the ball rolling.

4. 

Construction Begins

Now the exciting part starts — watching your vision come to life. Throughout the build, we keep you updated via regular site meetings, photos, and access to our project management tools, so you’re never in the dark.
